The EDS (Expanded Drag System) consists of a cylindrical ring that expands or contracts in order to adjust the drag power according to the angler’s requirements. Internal drag forces align with the reel structure on a friction surface that is at least two times larger than that of other similar market products.

Given the fact that the system is directly mounted on the reel chassis, the self-supporting structure eliminates the need for a central shaft and, consequently, all related resistance issues. In the aggregate, the self-supporting structure and the EDS system make the reel perfect for demanding fishing conditions.
